Job summary

Google LLC in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Software Engineer III focused on Agent Quality and Efficiency Optimization to build and refine scalable AI-powered systems that improve agent performance.

You will collaborate across teams to design, deploy, and measure optimization features, with a strong emphasis on ML, cost efficiency, and reliable production deployments in a fast-growing cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in Go, C++ or Python, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with machine learning, large language models (LLMs), or applied AI.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship agent optimization systems across the Agent Development Kit and Vertex AI serving stack.
• Measure quality, cost, and latency per task to drive engineering work.
• Shape the optimization roadmap and set technical direction for enterprise agents.
• Build benchmark optimization techniques on open source and real workloads.
