About The Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer II – iOS to join our fast‑growing team. This role is open to candidates based within a commutable distance of our office hub in Kraków. The position is remote‑first with periodic in‑person gatherings at the closest office. In Tripadvisor, engineers engage in the full cycle from design to deployment, often using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and GraphQL within a modular, SOLID‑based Clean Architecture.
What You Will Do
- Write code, focusing on quality and maintainability.
- Touch code at every level, including backend microservices.
- Collaborate closely with Product and design teams to define feature specifications and deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation, development experience, QA, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with engineering groups located around the world.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience developing an iOS app and familiarity with mobile web and back‑end technologies is beneficial.
- 2–6 years of commercial software development, ideally working with a rich user interface.
- Experience with reactive programming in native mobile platforms.
- Willingness and ability to adopt new technologies.
- Ability to break down complex problems into simple solutions.
- High‑quality verbal and written communication skills.
