Job summary

AirHelp, a global travel tech company, seeks a Software Engineer to build and scale core systems powering travel protection and payouts worldwide. You will own technical challenges impacting millions of users and partner APIs, shipping features rapidly in a high-trust, low-politics environment.

Location options include Kraków, Gdańsk, or Warsaw with a Hybrid work model. You’ll work with a modern stack across backend, frontend, and infrastructure, driving quality and velocity while mentoring

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong skills in at least one core technology: Ruby/Rails, Golang, Python, Node, React, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of relational DBs (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Comfort working across the entire SDLC: from problem framing to deploying and monitoring production.

Responsibilities

• Ship production-ready code daily across systems powering the traveller journey.
• Design and scale services for performance, uptime and maintainability.
• Improve developer velocity by contributing to tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Influence architectural decisions and lead modernization initiatives.
• Mentor peers and drive engineering standards through reviews and testing.
