About the job:

Our team builds and maintains the internal developer platform and test environment infrastructure that empowers hundreds of engineers to test, manage, and deploy their microservices efficiently. Our work focuses on building platform microservices, automated deployment pipelines, dynamic traffic routing mechanisms via Service Mesh, test data generation tooling, and developer portal integrations.

We’re looking for a junior software engineer who is ready to learn, contribute, and grow within platform engineering. You’ll take ownership of well-scoped tasks — from enhancing deployment pipelines and test environment tooling to improving developer experience and system reliability — working closely with experienced platform engineers across JVM services and cloud-native infrastructure.

• Build useful things: Turn product and business needs into tested, maintainable software, working closely with the team.
• Learn how our systems fit together: Expand your Kotlin and JVM development skills, understand the interplay between deployment automation, cloud-native infrastructure, and traffic routing, and learn how platform tooling empowers developers across the organization.
• Help keep things reliable: Write tests, take part in code reviews, and learn how we monitor and support the systems we build. You won’t join on-duty shifts when you first start. We’ll introduce them after onboarding, once you and the team agree you’re ready.
• Work with modern tools: We use industry-standard AI coding assistants to support our development workflows.

Important things for you:

• The salary range for this position depending on the skill set is as follows (contract of employment, tax-deductible cost):
  • PLN 11 200 - 15 250
  • Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.
• Our team is based in Poznań.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience programming in Kotlin or Java and is motivated to develop their Kotlin skills in a production environment.
• Has a basic understanding of microservices and is interested in learning how to build reliable, scalable systems.
• Cares about code quality, welcomes constructive code reviews, and enjoys discussing sound engineering practices.
• Is open to continuously expanding their skills across different technologies and navigating complex, distributed platform solutions.
• Communicates clearly with teammates and stakeholders, and is ready to take ownership of well-scoped tasks - from clarifying the need and implementing a solution to helping monitor it after release, with support from the team.
• Has professional working proficiency in Polish and English (at least B2 level).
