Job summary

LITIT, a joint venture between NTT DATA and Reiz Tech, seeks a Software Architect/Development Lead to drive design and evolution of scalable cloud platforms for automotive tech. You will mentor a distributed team, define architecture standards, and collaborate with DevOps to ensure secure, high-performing solutions.

The role requires strong Java (Quarkus), Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS skills, with client-facing responsibilities in an Agile Scrum setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Software Architect, Tech Lead, or Senior Developer with team leadership.
• Strong experience designing microservices and RESTful APIs (OpenAPI).
• Backend with Java (Quarkus preferred) and event-driven systems (Kafka).
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production.
• Hands-on with AWS services (Secrets Manager, ECR, S3, PostgreSQL, CloudWatch).
• IaC and deployment tools (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD).
• Frontend experience with Angular/TypeScript and state management.
• Experience with design systems (enterprise-level).
• Test automation tools and practices (Playwright, Cucumber, Jira/XRay).
• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, container deployments.

Our client is a leading company in the automotive industry, focused on developing innovative connected vehicle and mobility solutions. They are looking for a skilled Software Architect/Development Lead to drive the design and evolution of scalable cloud platforms supporting next-generation automotive technologies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Software Architect/Development Lead, you will lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions for automotive platforms and connected vehicle services. You will work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to define cloud architecture standards and drive cloud transformation initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define system architecture, including functional and interface design, ensuring smooth integration with external systems.

• Lead technical direction as Software Architect and Development Lead, including task coordination and distribution within the team.

• Manage and mentor a distributed development team, ensuring productivity and technical growth.

• Contribute to technical and business requirements analysis, translating needs into scalable solutions.

• Develop and maintain backend services and frontend components in line with established coding standards and guidelines.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure code aligned with client expectations.

• Oversee implementation guidelines and ensure consistency across the codebase.

• Act as a technical advisor to the client within an Agile Scrum environment.

• Participate in client workshops, Scrum ceremonies, and regular project meetings.

• Support recruitment efforts, including conducting technical interviews.

• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance across microservices architecture and cloud environments.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in a Software Architect, Tech Lead, or Senior Developer role with team leadership responsibilities.

• Strong experience designing and implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs (OpenAPI standards).

• Solid backend experience with Java (Quarkus preferred) and event-driven systems (Kafka).

• Experience working with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., Secrets Manager, ECR, S3, PostgreSQL, CloudWatch).

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and deployment tools (Terraform, Helm Charts, ArgoCD).

• Frontend development experience with Angular and TypeScript, including state management and service architecture.

• Experience with design systems (preferably enterprise-level).

• Strong understanding of test automation tools and practices (Playwright, Cucumber, Jira/XRay).

• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and container-based deployments.

• Proficiency with modern development tools and package managers (npm, Maven).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with direct client interaction.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
