Job summary

A global advisory firm is seeking a Snowflake Architect in Katowice. You will design solution architecture in the cloud and work on innovative projects with a diverse team across the globe. Ideal candidates will have over 7 years of experience, including 4+ in Snowflake, and must demonstrate proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Azure or AWS. This role offers 2 days in the office and 3 days remote work options.

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

Your key responsibilities

• As a Snowflake Architect you will be responsible for designing of solution architecture for organization in a cloud.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 7+ years of professional, hands‑on experience building complex solution
• 3+ years working in an Architect role including: designing and building complex data solutions
• 4+ years of experience in Snowflake, including areas like engineering, governance, security
• 3+ years’ experience with Azure or AWS cloud products and services
• Proficiency in SQL
• Knowledge of Snowflake novelties, like Snowpipe, Marketplace, Cortex, etc
• Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions
• Experience in creating reliable solution plans in a cooperation with business and multi-disciplinary teams: costs estimation, delivery approaches
• Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues related to regulations, industry practice and new application technologies
• Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong understanding and experience with design techniques of relational databases
• Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation
