What You\'ll Be Doing
  • Ensure the availability and stability of Azure-based infrastructure and services used across the enterprise.
  • Lead infrastructure management activities across Azure IaaS and PaaS environments, handling deployment, configuration, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Automate infrastructure and operational workflows using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to ensure applications are deployed reliably, securely, and with performance in mind.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Support incident management and perform root cause analysis for critical production issues.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation (one week per month)
  • Contribute to automation and refactoring efforts, including light code contributions and reviews (primarily in JavaScript or TypeScript).
  • Monitor systems and infrastructure health using logging and observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or similar).
  • Work closely with a distributed team of engineers in Europe to align DevOps/SRE standards and practices.
Must-Have Technical Skills
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS), including App Service, Traffic Manager, API Management, etc.
  • Proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service and Docker, including pipeline creation and release management.
  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and tools: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, etc.
  • Strong automation skills for operational tasks and environment provisioning.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Good understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and cloud-native design patterns.
  • Exposure to incident management in production environments and ability to resolve P1/P2 issues under pressure
  • Development background with experience in Java, NodeJS, or other programming languages such as Python, C++, or C#.
  • Familiarity with one or more scripting or programming languages, ideally JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or PowerShell
Certifications

(Nice to Have, not Mandatory): AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator). Candidates who don’t currently hold these certifications will be supported (financially and with study time) in obtaining them post-hire.

  • Experience working in enterprise-scale production environments.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills—ability to work with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid or remote setup and capable of maintaining operational excellence.
The Benefits
  • Relocation assistance: We’re here to help with your move (if applicable)
  • Bonus: Yearly bonus of up to 10% of your salary
  • 25 days of paid vacation, plus an extra 6 sick days
