Job summary

OPmobility seeks a SITE INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN to join its automation team in Poland. You will design, implement, and commission industrial automation systems, program robots, and develop HMIs for customer projects.

The role requires traveling to on-site installations, strong problem solving, and teamwork. A higher technical degree in Automation and Robotics is expected, with fluency in reading technical English.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in Automation and Robotics.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA.
• Knowledge of Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram.
• English ability to read technical docs and communicate.
• Willingness to travel for on-site installations.
• Strong problem analysis and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Mission:

Works related to the modernization and implementation of new production equipment.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, implementation, configuration and commissioning of industrial automation systems.
• Programming and configuration of industrial robots.
• Development and configuration of user interfaces (HMI) for industrial automation systems.
• Analysis and solving technical problems related to control systems and automation.
• Preparation of technical documentation, including diagrams, specifications and manuals.
• Collaborate with other engineers, technicians and teams to ensure control systems are integrated with other systems.
• Training of end users in the operation and maintenance of control and automation systems.

Profile/ Skills:

• Higher technical education with a specialization in Automation and Robotics or related.
• Experience in working with industrial control and automation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA).
• Knowledge of programming languages used in automation (e.g. Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram).
• Knowledge of English at a level that allows reading technical documentation and easy communication with customers.
• Willingness to travel on business (for on-site installations at customers).
• Excellent problem analysis and technical problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
