Job summary

Sii's Product Design Studio is seeking an engineer specialized in CFD and/or thermal analyses to work on diverse automotive, industrial, energy, aerospace and hi-tech projects. You will translate simulation results into design improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams across life-cycle stages.

Role offers full-time or part-time cooperation depending on experience, with a focus on complex engineering challenges and validated product optimization.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in a relevant field.
• 3+ years independently conducting CFD/thermal analyses.
• Experience with STAR-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CFD and/or thermal analyses for mechanical products and systems.
• Create numerical models and prepare simulation assumptions.
• Analyze flow, heat transfer, and product behavior under various conditions.
• Interpret results and recommend design changes.
• Collaborate with project teams and other CAE specialists.
• Support product optimization for performance, reliability, and cost.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.

Job description

Join the Product Design Studio at Sii and support the implementation of engineering projects for clients from various sectors such as automotive, industrial, energy, aerospace, and hi-tech. We are looking for someone who specializes in CFD simulations or thermal analyses and wants to develop their skills in diverse projects related to design, optimization, and validation of products.

Depending on experience and availability, we offer the possibility of cooperation both in full-time and part-time capacities. We are looking for a versatile person who thrives in complex engineering issues and can translate simulation results into real improvements in designed solutions.

Your tasks

• Conducting CFD analyses and/or thermal analyses for mechanical products and systems


• Creating numerical models and preparing assumptions for simulations


• Analyzing flows, heat exchange, and product behavior under various operating conditions


• Interpreting simulation results and recommending design changes


• Collaborating with project teams, designers, and other CAE specialists


• Participating in product optimization for performance, reliability, and cost


• Preparing technical documentation and reports from conducted analyses


• Supporting validation and product development processes at various stages of the life cycle

Requirements

• Higher technical education (Mechanical Engineering, Energy, Aviation, Automation, or related fields)


• At least 3 years of experience in independently conducting CFD analyses and/or thermal analyses for technical products or systems


• Practical knowledge of STAR-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent


• Knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer issues


• Ability to build, validate, and verify numerical models


• Experience in analyzing and interpreting simulation results


• Ability to prepare technical documentation and reports


• Good command of English allowing for work in an international environment
