Sii Poland is seeking a Signal Processing & Data Analysis Specialist to join our Data Science team in Poland. You will guide migrations, engineering, and clinical teams to ensure a clear understanding of algorithm behavior and output characteristics.

You will analyze datasets for deviations, document validation efforts, and help design test cases and tolerance thresholds. Collaboration with data migration and engineering staff is essential to quantify and trace data integrity issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with algorithm or software validation.
• Experience developing data comparison or reconciliation workflows with large CSV datasets.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to validation frameworks and test cases, including defining tolerance thresholds and acceptance criteria for comparing outputs across environments.
• Develop and execute CSV-based comparison workflows to verify consistency of algorithmic output and quantify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with data migration specialists and engineers to resolve data-integrity issues, ensuring deviations are quantified, documented, and traceable.

Your tasks

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with algorithm or software validation, developing data comparison or reconciliation workflows using large tabular or CSV datasets
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
• Solid understanding of digital signal processing and time-series analysis
• Proficiency in Python, including familiarity with libraries like SciPy, NumPy, or pandas
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders outside your specialty
• Advanced level of English and residency in Poland

Nice to have

• Familiarity with database migrations or platform equivalency testing
• Experience with high-frequency sensor data
