Loudspeaker Marketing (LSM), a division of GTM 8020, is seeking an Account Manager to own client relationships end to end. You’ll lead strategy, QA outputs, and ensure timely delivery while coordinating with Writers and Account Associates.
The role emphasizes turning organic growth into measurable results—leads, pipeline, and revenue—through integrated SEO and AI-driven visibility. Remote work with EST business hours.
Loudspeaker Marketing or LSM (a division of GTM 8020) is an organic growth marketing agency. We help businesses, from fast-growing AI/tech startups to e-commerce brands, get found online and generate real leads. Our clients are largely based in the USA and include brands like Upwork, Vitamin Shoppe, and HeyGen.
We make sure clients rank in traditional search engines (SEO) and show up in LLM-powered search results. Visibility in both channels drives qualified traffic, which turns into calls and signed contracts for our clients.
As an Account Manager, you own client relationships end to end: leading calls, driving strategy, reporting on performance, and making sure everything we've committed to is delivered on time and meets the standard before it reaches the client.
You won't produce content day to day. Each account is supported by a Content Writer & Account Associate who handles writing, editing, and publishing. Your job is to set direction, brief the work, QA what goes out, and own the outcome with the client.
That said, you can't manage this work without being able to do it. The best account managers here are the best writers. Briefing well means knowing exactly what good looks like. Catching a weak piece, or diagnosing why a client is unhappy, means reading closely enough to see what's actually wrong. If your writing and editing instincts are weak, you'll end up passing complaints downstream and hoping they get solved, and that's not a role we have.
This also isn't a "report the numbers" role. We expect you to treat each client's organic growth as a whole system:
You'll also coordinate ad hoc client needs such as technical SEO fixes or website tasks.
You'll run weekly or bi-weekly 30-minute calls with each client, with an async update on off weeks, covering what's been published, tasks handled over Slack or offline, and performance metrics such as traffic and impressions.
Everyone starts by learning our content engine hands-on: how content is generated, fact-checked, and published with our AI systems and tools. You'll write the first calibration articles for your accounts yourself to learn each client's voice. For experienced candidates this is fast onboarding, not a probation period, but it isn't optional. We'll assess the quality of what you produce, because it's the clearest signal of whether you can direct writers well. After ramp, you'll keep writing calibration articles and periodically editing and fact-checking so your judgment stays sharp.
You'll ramp alongside a senior account manager who leads client calls initially while you prepare updates and learn the accounts. How quickly you take over calls, and then full ownership, depends on how fast you demonstrate command of the work. Senior candidates should expect to run accounts independently quickly and take on larger or more complex ones as they do.
Title, scope, and compensation scale with experience and performance. For senior candidates, there's room to shape how we work: refining our AM playbook, improving reporting and client processes, and mentoring future account managers. We're a small, fast-moving company, and people who take ownership define their own lane and are rewarded for it.
We want people who are excited to get better at what they do, and who see the company's growth as connected to their own.
Aim for excellence, not just done. Review your work before it leaves your hands, catch the missed details yourself, and take ownership of your output.
We're fully remote, so what we know is what you tell us.
Read between the lines, use common sense, and figure things out independently. Take initiative, add value beyond what was asked, and take control of problems rather than waiting to be told how to solve them.
Critical feedback is information, not a verdict on you. You can hear that something wasn't good enough without getting defensive, and you give feedback the same way: direct, specific, and not personal.
We put the work in before we ask for anything back, with clients and with each other. When a client hasn't been happy, we've written off weeks of work rather than argue about the bill. Internally, people who take on more than their role asks and do it well have seen compensation and scope grow significantly, often within their first 6-8 months. Lead with contribution and we'll recognize it.
We're upfront about fit because it saves everyone time. This role may not be the best match if a few of these feel true:
