Job summary

GlobalLogic, a leading product development partner, is seeking a Network/QA Engineer to join the testing and qualification of cutting-edge Wi‑Fi chips and mesh systems in a global delivery environment.

The role focuses on test planning, execution, lab maintenance, and reporting, ensuring interoperability and performance across Wi‑Fi solutions for millions of users, with opportunities for growth and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and OSI model.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi networks and standards.
• Wi‑Fi Mesh experience.
• Experience in networks administration.
• Proficient Linux user.
• Experience in testing.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Wi‑Fi systems qualification including interoperability, performance, range, stability, and other testings of Wi‑Fi access points and mesh systems.
• Test plan creation based on project requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
• Test case execution and preparing test reports.
• Reporting technical issues, creating defect reports.
• Configuring and maintaining test lab.

Requirements

Required:

• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack, understanding of OSI model
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi networks and standards
• Wi-Fi Mesh experience
• Experience in networks administration
• Proficient Linux user
• Experience in testing
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Good written and spoken English

Prefered:

• Basic scripting skills (bash/python)
