Job summary

EY in Katowice is looking for a Senior WAM Business Analyst with German to strengthen our Financial Services Consulting capability in Poland. Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in financial services.
• Very good German and English language skills, with ability to facilitate workshops and prepare documentation in a German-speaking project environment.
• Experience in front-to-back process analysis, requirements management and delivery support across business, technology, operations and testing teams.
• Understanding of domains such as securities lifecycle, settlement, custody, asset servicing, reporting, data migration, system integration or operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities across Wealth & Asset Management, capital markets and securities transformation projects.
• Organize and facilitate workshops with German-speaking stakeholders and product owners.
• Elicit, structure and document business and functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and operating model inputs.
• Analyze front-to-back processes across order management, post-trade, settlement, custody, asset servicing, reporting and regulatory change.
• Translate requirements into artefacts for technology, testing, operations and project teams.
• Support gap analysis, process optimization, controls definition and operating model improvements.
• Coordinate with technical teams on interfaces, data flows and integration dependencies.
• Support test planning, UAT, defect analysis, business acceptance and go-live readiness.
• Prepare status updates and stakeholder communications in English and German.
• Contribute to a collaborative, quality-focused delivery culture and mentor junior team members.
