Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a User Experience Designer to design enterprise and developer-facing products, including next-generation AI infrastructure. You will craft intuitive, scalable experiences for complex systems end-to-end with cross-functional teams.

You will translate complex cloud and AI workflows into cohesive experiences across UI, API, CLI, and IaC, and collaborate to ship features users love. This role emphasizes prototyping, research, and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX design experience in product or B2B SaaS.
• Experience shaping developer workflows (APIs, infrastructure).
• Familiarity with AI/ML model deployment and inference.
• Ability to simplify complex cloud/infrastructure systems for users.
• Proven comfort in ambiguous, early-stage product environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and rapid prototyping from concept to delivery with cross-functional teams.
• Translate complex cloud, security, and AI systems into intuitive UI, API, CLI, and IaC experiences.
• Create cohesive, scalable experiences that connect developer workflows and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate across teams, participate in design critiques to align stakeholders.
• Use research and data to validate user-centered design decisions.
