Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Senior/Principal Transport Planner to join a well-established transport planning consultancy in Surrey. You will lead Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans across UK projects, directing modelling work and delivering high-quality reports.

You will liaise with authorities, support project management and bid activity, and mentor junior staff within a collaborative team. A degree in a related field and professional accreditation are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Transport Assessments and Travel Plans.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Experience liaising with local authorities and public bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans and feasibility studies.
• Manage transport modelling and related analysis.
• Provide transport and highway design input for development projects.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and support business development.
