Job summary

A leading renewable energy company in Poland is seeking an experienced professional for a Mergers & Acquisitions role. The position involves identifying and executing acquisitions, managing relationships with stakeholders, and conducting analyses in a flexible hybrid working environment. Candidates should possess a business-related degree, at least 5 years of experience in M&A, and be fluent in Polish and English.

Responsibilities
  • Identify potential divestment opportunities based on a defined asset strategy
  • Identify potential partnership or acquisitions’ opportunities
  • Execute selected acquisitions for pipeline enhancement
  • Design and structure long-term asset partnerships in interaction with potential or existing partners/investors
  • Lead diverse transaction project teams effectively
  • Hold accountability for budget and time transaction targets
  • Conduct continuous financial and qualitative analysis of a defined number of transactions and transaction opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with RWE Renewables technology and support functions on transaction execution and local implications
Job Requirements & Experience
  • Business or analytical/quantitative degree, with at least 5 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions
  • MBA, CFA or similar postgraduate degree considered a plus
  • Understanding of energy markets, generation technologies and investor markets
  • Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills, coupled with the ability to execute and deliver projects and transactions
  • Creative approach to transaction scenario analysis and estimation
  • Comfort managing relationships with senior stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • Strong personal skills and adaptability to diverse cultural environments
  • Fluent in written and spoken Polish and English; German, Italian, French considered a plus
