Sii Poland is seeking a dedicated electronics test systems engineer to support transferring production and test infrastructure from Canada to Poland for advanced electronic products. You will design and implement test systems, work with engineering, production, and external suppliers, and ensure readiness of new solutions at the Niepołomice facility.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in electronics testing or manufacturing engineering.
• Hands-on testing of PCBAs and electronic devices in production.
• Knowledge of Boundary Scan, JTAG, ICT, AOI, and Functional Test.
• Experience with NI TestStand, LabVIEW, or NI PXI.
• Experience with production transfers and NPI.
• Excellent English communication in an international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Define and develop testing strategies for electronic products and new production implementations
• Design, develop, and optimize test systems for PCBAs and finished products
• Define requirements for testing, programming, validation, and production readiness of new solutions
• Collaborate with test system suppliers and evaluate proposed technical solutions
• Coordinate activities related to production transfer, the launch of new test stations, and the introduction of new products
• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to test systems and production infrastructure
• Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions
• Participate in the validation, qualification, and technical acceptance of test systems
• Support equipment relocation activities and ensure the ongoing maintenance of equipment in the production environment

You will join an international project focused on transferring production and test infrastructure from Canada to Poland for advanced electronic products. You will support the development and implementation of test systems used in the production environment and work closely with engineering teams, production teams, and external suppliers.

The project is carried out in close cooperation with teams from Poland, Canada, and the USA. The role requires on-site presence at the production facility in Niepołomice, as well as occasional business trips related to knowledge transfer, implementation, and the launch of new solutions.

Due to the international nature of the project, meetings outside standard working hours may occasionally be required.

This role is ideal for someone who feels comfortable working at the intersection of electronics, production, and testing, and who enjoys having a real impact on technical decisions, the development of test infrastructure, and the successful implementation of new products.

Your tasks

• Define and develop testing strategies for electronic products and new production implementations

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics testing, test systems, or manufacturing engineering
• Hands-on experience in testing PCBAs and electronic devices in a production environment
• Knowledge of technologies such as Boundary Scan, JTAG, ICT, AOI, and Functional Test
• Experience in designing, implementing, or maintaining test systems
• Familiarity with NI TestStand, LabVIEW, or NI PXI platforms
• Experience working with suppliers of equipment, test systems, or industrial automation solutions
• Ability to analyze technical issues and propose effective solutions
• Experience with production transfers, New Product Introduction (NPI), validation, or qualification of test systems
• Excellent command of English, enabling effective communication and collaboration in an international environment

Nice to have

• Experience in coordinating the relocation of production lines and testing stations
• Familiarity with safety compliance requirements and standards (e.g., EMC, LVD)
