Job summary

A prominent banking institution in Poland is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance their Credit Risk applications. You’ll lead efforts in automating tests, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while mentoring the QA team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the finance sector, particularly with Cloud platforms and testing automation. About our team

Meet the Credit Risk Quality Assurance & testing team in Credit Risk domain. Working with us, you will be part of one of the most significant regulatory program for the bank, that constitutes upscaling Nordea’s models and frameworks for credit risk and capital calculation. You will cooperate closely with your colleagues across the bank and you will have great possibilities to develop your skills within credit risk area – a domain which high focus and attention in Nordea.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Have a strong quality driven mindset in every aspect of SDLC and STLC.
  • Develop full scale automated pipelines for validating and quality assuring regulatory functional changes implemented in Credit risk application landscape, inline to organisation’s BizDevOps journey.
  • Perform test analysis, develop test design ensuring complete test coverage for business and technical changes for complex regulatory requirements.
  • Leveraging AI capabilities for synthetic test data creation, developing automated test suites and integration to CI/CD pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain automated regression test suites, plan and prioritise test towards an automated release pipeline.
  • Support, guide and mentor QA people in deriving test approaches for the functional and technical IT changes under development.
  • With a strong innovation and efficiency driven mindset, consistently and proactively look forward for improvement in quality and effectiveness of tests.
Who you are

Your background and skills include:

  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in Quality Assurance and functional testing in Database, Data Warehousing and ETL assignments in finance domain, preferably Credit Risk.
  • Professional work experience in Snowflake platform or other relevant Cloud data warehouse platforms with advanced SQL and Python scripting.
  • Sound expertise in test automation frameworks based on Pytest, BDD, Robot Framework implementing data quality controls.
  • Expertise in developing functional test scenarios for complex business requirements in a versatile technology landscape.
  • Extensive theoretical knowledge and practical work experience in quality assurance, testing process & testing life cycle.
  • Expertise in building DevOps pipeline and relevant tools including Airflow, Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong passion and willingness to learn, have the ability to work cohesively in a time critical and stringent schedule.
