Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a seasoned Tech QA Analyst to join the Publishing team in Warsaw. You will own QA across multiple titles from development to release, coordinating with external partners and focusing on automation, rendering, engine stability, and performance.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of game engines (Unreal/Unity/REDKIT), asset pipelines, and fluency in English. Office-first with hybrid options, relocation support, and extensive health and well-being

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Tech QA Analyst experience.
• Experience coordinating with external partners and planning tasks/time management.
• At least one AAA or AA project finished and delivered.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and game engines (Unreal, Unity, Godot, REDkit).
• Experience with asset creation pipelines in 3DSMax, Maya, Blender.
• Proven experience testing across consoles and PC (PS4/PS5, Xbox, Switch, PC, Mac).
• Ability to develop complex test strategies including integration, stress, and performance testing.
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks to optimize efficiency.
• Fluent English and a passion for gaming.

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tech QA Analyst to join our Publishing team in Warsaw. Publishing QA is a team working across various projects, and had successfully supported releases of projects like Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2, ongoing Cyberpunk 2077 patches and The Witcher 3 REDkit. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and stability of our games , and we are looking for candidates with a strong technical background and a deep understanding of QA methodologies and tools . Daily responsibilities

• Take ownership of QA responsibilities for multiple titles simultaneously, from early development through release.
• Coordinate testing workflows with external QA partners, setting expectations and verifying delivery quality.
• Conduct comprehensive testing of video games , focusing on technical aspects such as automation, rendering, engine stability and performance
• Identify, report, and verify bugs related to technical aspects of the game like performance, stability.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical -focused test checklists, adapting them as game features evolve.
• Ensure checklists fully cover critical technical systems, continuously improving test coverage and depth.
• Collaborate closely with development, design, and UX teams to ensure the technical experience aligns with both creative intent and technical requirements.
• Provide constructive feedback on design and UX aspects to support meaningful iteration.
• Document testing processes, issue logs, and testing results; ensure QA documentation is organized and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Represent the company’s QA standards and product quality to external studios and partners.
• Test the performance, usability, and stability of gameplay features across target platforms.
• Analyze technical data and QA reports support and solidify decision-making and risk management around technical features.
• Ensure consistent performance, stability and integrity parity across platforms (PC, consoles, etc.).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tech QA Analyst or in a similar role, minimum 5 years.
• Proven experience in cooperation with external partners, as a coordinator or person who was planning tasks and time management .
• At least one AAA or AA project finished and delivered.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and experience with game engines (e.g., Unreal , Unity, Godot, REDkit).
• Strong knowledge of assets creation pipelines in various external software (e.g., 3DSMax, Maya, Blender).
• Proven experience in working with various different Consoles ( Sony PlayStation 4, Sony PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox One, Microsoft Xbox Series, PC, Steamdeck, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, MacOS)
• Ability to develop complex test strategies that encompass integration, stress, and performance testing .
• Experience in using testing tools and frameworks to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think systematically to drive quality improvements.
• Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and test reports.
• Fluency in English and a passion for gaming .

Working mode

• Relocation to Warsaw is required.

Estimated pay range for this position: 15400 - 26500 PLN gross monthly. Final offers are dependent on job-related factors like experience and qualifications.
