Job summary

CloudFerro S.A. is seeking a hands-on network engineer to design, deploy and maintain physical network infrastructure across Europe, with a focus on Juniper, NVIDIA/Mellanox and other platforms.

You will configure Linux-based systems (VyOS, OPNsense), automate tasks with Ansible and Python, and troubleshoot complex environments while delivering reliable, scalable services. English communication is required. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Junos, NVIDIA Cumulus Linux, VyOS or similar Network Operating Systems.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking stack.
• Good knowledge of routing protocols, particularly BGP and OSPF.
• Strong Linux skills, especially in networking.
• Familiarity with DNS technologies (BIND/PowerDNS).
• Confidence communicating in English, both written and spoken.

What you’ll be working on

What we’re looking for

• Hands‑on experience with Junos, NVIDIA Cumulus Linux, VyOS or similar Network Operating Systems.
• A solid understanding of the TCP/IP networking stack.

Nice to have

• Experience with EVPN/VXLAN, particularly in NVIDIA Cumulus Linux and/or SONiC environments.
• Knowledge of network security, including firewalls, VPNs, access control and network segmentation.
• Understanding of networking in OpenStack and/or Kubernetes environments.
• Familiarity with networking hardware vendors and the ability to evaluate and select appropriate technical solutions.
• Experience with SONiC or other Network Operating Systems.
