Job summary

Warman O'Brien is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer I/II to join a leading CRO. Role offers remote or hybrid options in Poland, including Warsaw, with a competitive salary and bonus eligibility.

You will lead statistical programming activities, develop SDTM/ADaM datasets, support regulatory submissions, mentor junior programmers, and help shape programming standards within a high-performing team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in clinical trial statistical programming.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SDTM, ADaM, CDISC.
  • Experience working in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Leadership of workstreams and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of regulatory submission processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Leading statistical programming activities across clinical studies.
  • Developing, programming, and reviewing SDTM and ADaM datasets.
  • Programming and reviewing TLGs for CSRs, ISS and ISE.
  • Performing CDISC and Pinnacle 21 checks.
  • Preparing and reviewing define.xml, aCRFs, and related documentation.
  • Supporting regulatory submissions.
  • Improving processes, macros, and programming standards.
  • Mentoring and guiding less experienced programmers.

In this role, you’ll take on a senior, hands-on position in statistical programming, leading projects, driving regulatory submissions, and ensuring high standards across deliverables. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior programmers and shaping best practices within the team.

What we’re looking for
  • Masters degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical trial statistical programming
  • Strong hands-on experience with SDTM, ADaM, TLGs, and CDISC
  • Experience working in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment
  • Comfortable leading workstreams and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • High attention to detail, good organisation, and a practical approach to problem-solving
