Job summary

Fluke, a Fortive company, is hiring an experienced software engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize multi-tenant SaaS applications. You'll work on C#, SQL databases, and cloud-native deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

You'll join an international team in a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office, contributing to modern architectural upgrades and providing strong technical support across customer Success and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IS or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of software development experience
• Advanced C# skills
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS
• Familiarity with legacy Windows tech (ODBC, Windows Services, COM+, MSMQ)
• Experience with Sybase SQL and PostgreSQL is a plus
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP) would be valuable
• VB.NET/VB6 development experience would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software solutions using C#
• Design and optimize SQL-based database solutions with stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Build and support applications using legacy Windows technologies (ODBC, Windows Services, COM+, MSMQ)
• Provide advanced technical support to customers and internal teams
• Develop and maintain containerized apps and deployment pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes
• Contribute to deployment, monitoring, and operation of AWS-based cloud solutions
• Participate in software architecture, code reviews, and design discussions
• Support modernization of legacy apps toward cloud-native architectures
• Create technical documentation and share knowledge across teams
