Job summary

Danaher Corporation seeks a Senior Staff Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology, focusing on Analytics, Data Science and BI. This role can be remote in the US or on-site in Krakow, Poland.

You will engage stakeholders, translate requirements into user stories, collaborate with data teams, and support adoption across global functions.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably within BI/Data Analytics/Data Science or Data Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, requirements elicitation, process modeling, and SQL, with hands-on Snowflake and Power BI experience.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Dashboards or Data Preparation
• 3 years of experience working in Agile teams that work in sprints

The Senior Staff Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by translating requirements into technical specifications. Focusing on Analytic, Data Science and Business Intelligence. You will have the opportunity to work all business functions and with our Data & Analytics experts across the world and multiple operating companies.

This position reports to the Senior Director Data Engineering and is part of the Data Engineering Team and will be fully remote in US or on‑site in Krakow, Poland.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Data Engineering environments.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, requirements elicitation, process modeling, and SQL, with hands‑on experience leveraging Snowflake and Power BI to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience working with Dashboards or Data Preparation
• 3 years of experience working in Agile teams that work in sprints

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Ability to travel to Washington DC and global Danaher sites, up to 10%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Reporting Tools

The annual salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
