Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Poland is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to help customers design and implement scalable cloud solutions. You will lead technical engagements, shape architectural decisions, and guide developers and architects across strategic accounts to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires strong customer-facing skills, strategic business insight, and deep AWS technology expertise to drive adoption and deliver measurable value in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Fluency in Russian or Ukrainian (written & spoken) is required

As a Solution Architect within the Global Sales of Amazon Web Services (AGS), you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon’s utility computing web services (Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, Amazon CloudFront) within strategic accounts.

Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, and developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.

The ideal candidate will posses customer facing skills that will allow them to represent Amazon well within a customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel within the company, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact and give guidance with software developers and architects. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• Fluency in Russian or Ukrainian (written & spoken) is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience building generative AI solutions

The minimum gross base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated.

Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher base salary, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final salary and any restricted stock unit scheme if applicable, depending on skills and requirements.
