Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join a team focused on designing and developing integration solutions that automate enterprise platforms such as GitLab and Jira. You will create middleware, automation tools, and CI/CD components to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.

Your work includes designing robust integrations, building reusable services and APIs, and maintaining Linux-based tooling.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years in software development and integration solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Python and Go.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and reusable CI components.
• Extensive experience building REST APIs.
• Cloud technologies: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure.
• Familiarity with Elastic Stack and Open Policy Agent is a plus.
• English proficiency at least B2.

Your tasks

• Designing and developing middleware services and integration platforms using Python and Go
• Creating robust integrations between GitLab and Jira, as well as other platforms such as Elastic Stack and Open Policy Agent
• Building reusable services, libraries, and APIs to support automation and orchestration of processes
• Designing and implementing CI/CD components for GitLab
• Creating cloud applications and middleware
• Maintaining awareness of Linux system operations and Linux shell commands
  

Requirements

• Min. 5 years of experience in software development and integration solutions
• Strong knowledge of programming languages Python and Go
• Strong experience working with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and creating reusable CI components for GitLab
• Extensive experience in building and using REST APIs
• Knowledge of database technologies such as Redis and SQLite
• Experience working with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Azure
• Familiarity with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats) and Open Policy Agent (OPA) will be an additional advantage
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
