Senior Software Engineer with Leadership Potential

Your role at Dynatrace

As a Senior Software Engineer with Leadership Potential you will start your journey as Engineer and in the future you can evolve to dual role that combines responsibilities as both the Team Captain and a Software Engineer. Strong focus on supporting Engineering Team, its individual team members, and their talents, strengths, and creativity so that they’re leveraged to maximum effect. You also have the opportunity to continue growing and developing technically as a software engineer, being able to contribute to architecture discussions and complex implementations. You’ll thrive in our cloud-native environment using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.js, while leveraging a rich toolbox of technologies to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Team Captain

• Handle 1on1 sessions with all team members (mentor and help them find the right path to grow in Dynatrace and empower them to become their best version)
• Ensure knowledge sharing, performance, communication, and motivation within the team
• Ensure the team is organized and structured in alignment with the organization goals and team / individual needs
• Conduct interviews and assess the suitability of candidates

Senior Software Engineer

• Build, deliver and be responsible for critical and most challenging features and components throughout their lifecycle
• You will build visualizations that help our users understand the complexity of infrastructure observability data
• Ensure adherence to best practices, quality of code, and design principles
• Advise in architectural decisions and drive complex system efforts
• Make software design decisions and identify potential issues and risks
• Collaborate with key stakeholders effectively to solve problems and drive decisions

What will help you succeed

• 5+ years of experience developing web-based software using JavaScript/TypeScript
• Solid understanding of core Web APIs, HTML, and CSS
• Excellent knowledge of React and modern front-end development practices
• Hands‑on team player with excellent communication, problem‑solving, organizational, and analytical skills
• Experience working in Python, Java or any other backend language or willingness to learn
• Proven track record as a People Lead, not just a Tech Lead—emphasizing mentoring, coaching, performance management, and career development
• Empathetic and supportive personality, passionate about feedback culture and knowledge sharing
• Comfortable working in agile teams, with a collaborative and iterative approach
• Good English communication

Compensation and Rewards

• We offer only employment contracts (PL: Umowa o pracę / UoP) and a hybrid working setup with 2/3 days per week in the office. This is a permanent role and not a B2B contract.

• Base salary range — starting from 16,400 PLN gross per month.
