Job summary

Sphera is seeking a Senior .NET Developer with deep Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps expertise to lead the design and delivery of scalable cloud-native applications. You will own technical direction, mentor developers, and collaborate with product and platform teams to ensure secure, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET).
• Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, releases, work item integration).
• Solid experience with distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (Azure SQL/SQL Server) and data access patterns (Entity Framework, Dapper).
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices (SOLID, clean architecture, automated testing, CI/CD).
• Experience leading technical initiatives or acting as a technical owner/lead on projects.
• Experience working in Agile/Kanban environments.
• Preferred / Nice-to-Have: containers/orchestration (Docker, AKS/Kubernetes); IaC (Bicep/ARM/Terraform).

• Lead troubleshooting of production issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers; contribute to hiring and onboarding.
• Continuously improve engineering practices and delivery processes.

About the Role

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-305) a plus.
