Senior Software Engineer & Lead

Location: Poland

About the Role

We're looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer & Lead to guide a team of developers in delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions. In this role, you'll take ownership of the full development lifecycle, drive technical excellence, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and clients. You'll also mentor team members, oversee day-to-day operations, and help shape the direction of our engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of up to 5 developers in full-stack development projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions.
• Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle—from concept to deployment.
• Drive technical excellence and ensure code quality across the team.
• Act as a key technical partner for client architects and product owners.
• Set and monitor team performance.

Requirements

• Expertise in Java and Spring, Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and integration patterns.
• Experience with ORM tools (e.g., Entity Framework, nHibernate, Hibernate).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch).
• CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, Azure DevOps, CircleCI).
• Cloud and DevOps experience: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue (nice to have).
• Fluent in Polish and English.
