Job summary

zooplus SE is seeking an experienced software engineer to contribute to loyalty product development and strengthen customer engagement for a leading pet e-commerce platform.

The role requires 8+ years in software development, strong Java/Kotlin and Spring expertise, and hands-on experience with microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. A Bachelor’s in CS is required, with excellent English communication and a DevOps mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline is a minimum.
• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in Java 8+ or Kotlin.
• Spring Framework, Hibernate.
• PostgreSQL, Oracle.
• AWS (S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, IAM).
• Ability of designing and operating microservices and event-driven architectures.
• DevOps mindset with hands-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git).
• Applies testing pyramid principles and demonstrates strong quality ownership.
• Applies DDD and SOLID in practice.
• Comfortable working across all stages of SDLC.
• Enjoying the philosophy of "you build it, you run it".
• Good command of English (min. B2 / C1).
