Job summary

Cisco Kraków is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, build, and maintain core License Manager capabilities using C++ for secure, scalable product functionality.

You will lead features from design through production, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product management, support, and partner teams to deliver robust licensing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of related experience.
• Professional software development experience in C++, including designing, building, and maintaining production backend, systems, or distributed software.
• Strong understanding of software design, data structures, algorithms, debugging, testing, and code review practices.
• Experience investigating complex reliability, scale, or performance issues in production systems.
• Ability to work independently, lead medium-sized technical initiatives, and write clean, maintainable, and secure code.

• Experience mentoring engineers and improving developer workflows, test coverage, operational tooling, or engineering standards.
