On The Spot Development in Poland is hiring an experienced software engineer to own data collection and processing pipelines. You will shape how security data flows, be part of an expanding, cloud-native team, and help scale systems across new platforms and infrastructure.

You will write clean, production-grade code, lead end-to-end initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver fast, reliable security insights.

Qualificações

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience building data-intensive systems at scale.
• Experience with Python - Must.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous message processing.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, concurrency, synchronization, memory management, data structures, and algorithms.

Orca Security is a cybersecurity startup and cloud innovation leader. Founded in 2019 in Israel by former Check Point managers, it raised $630+ million and became a 'unicorn' in 2021.

This role sits on the Attack Surface Management team. It synthesizes data from cloud infrastructure, security events, logs, vulnerability intelligence, and third-party systems into interconnected security models that map network exposure, reveal attack paths, identify security gaps, and quantify overall security posture.

The team also owns Orca's API Security capabilities, which discover and probe the APIs customers expose, as well as our Attack Surface Agent, an AI-driven "red agent" that runs offensive reconnaissance against customers' external assets. By understanding the relationships between assets, permissions, network accessibility, and potential risks, we enable product teams to deliver meaningful security insights to customers.

About the role

You'll own critical components of our data collection and analysis pipelines, drive architectural decisions that influence how security data flows and is transformed into insights, and help us expand our capabilities.

We're currently scaling our data collection to new cloud platforms and infrastructure types, improving our ability to model network exposure and surface security risks, broadening our API discovery and testing, building agentic offensive security capabilities, enhancing security scoring across new domains, and evolving our architecture towards a more event-driven design — and we're looking for experienced engineers who are eager to make a foundational impact.
