Job summary

Mindrift is building a dataset to evaluate AI coding agents by creating realistic developer environments, crafting tasks, and defining what constitutes a solved state. You will design scenarios, write tests, and iterate on criteria based on QA feedback to ensure robust evaluation.

The role requires 5+ years in software development and a core stack including Python (FastAPI), JavaScript/TypeScript (React), Docker, PostgreSQL, Kafka and Redis, with English proficiency at least B2+.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development.
• Experience with Python (FastAPI) and JavaScript/TypeScript (React).
• Experience writing functional and integration tests.
• English proficiency – B2+.

Responsibilities

• Design tasks and evaluation criteria within realistic simulated environments.
• Create challenging tasks and evaluation criteria for AI coding agents.
• Write tests that accept all valid solutions and reject incorrect ones.
• Iterate on tasks/tests based on QA feedback to ensure fairness and robustness.
