Job summary

Speechify Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join the distributed AI team. You will build data pipelines powering model training and next-gen AI products, handling petabyte-scale datasets across cloud environments.

You will work with AI scientists to improve training data quality, scale data processing, and own projects from discovery to delivery in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Strong Python and Bash programming in Linux environments.
• Experience building/operating production data pipelines or large-scale data processing.
• Good problem solving, initiative and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Discover new data sources and build reliable pipelines for training datasets.
• Develop and optimize large-scale data-processing systems for quality and cost.
• Collaborate with AI scientists to improve training data and model datasets.
• Own engineering projects from discovery through implementation and iteration.
