Infinite Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join a high-impact project for a global manufacturing enterprise.

You will own and scale the data pipeline framework processing telemetry data from facilities, making architectural decisions and driving reliability. You will collaborate with Product Owners and architects to onboard new sources, optimize pipelines for performance and cost, and build observability and data products for the Data Science team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Snowflake in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Snowflake data engineering (stages, Snowpipe, streams, tasks, SPs, dynamic tables).
• Strong SnowflakeSQL skills, with ingestion and semi-structured data (JSON, XML).
• Experience with performance tuning and cost governance tooling in Snowflake.
• Knowledge of Azure integration patterns and CI/CD for data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated onboarding for new data sources (manufacturing plants), including external stage configuration, notification integrations and data ingestion setup with automated validation tests.
• Review and optimize the existing pipeline for performance and cost efficiency.
• Build cost tracking and chargeback tooling enabling cost attribution per factory and per data source.
• Implement a data observability and audit layer covering ingestion errors, processing latency, data volume anomalies and SLA breaches, with operational alerting.
• Design and deliver new data products for the Data Science team, with appropriate access controls.
• Maintain and evolve the technical backlog - proactively proposing pipeline improvements, evaluating new Snowflake capabilities, and contributing to the platform roadmap alongside Product Owners and architects.
