We are seeking a Security Engineer with a strong foundation in reverse engineering, system internals, and security research. The ideal candidate will be adept at dissecting software to identify vulnerabilities, understanding complex systems, and developing tools to mitigate risks. 5 - 8 years of professional experience in security research, reverse engineering, or vulnerability analysis. Exceptional candidates with demonstrable expertise (e.g., public research) will be considered regardless of formal experience. Responsibilities
  • Reverse Engineering: Analyze and dissect software to uncover vulnerabilities and understand underlying mechanisms.
  • Threat Analysis: Assess and identify potential threats by examining system behaviors and interactions.
  • Tool Development: Create and enhance tools to automate security assessments and improve detection capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering and Information Security teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
  • Ethical hacker: Simulate attacks to identify vulnerabilities and find weaknesses to improve security.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of findings, methodologies, and recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on system internals and application security.
  • Proven experience in reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or .NET.
  • Familiarity with disassemblers and debuggers like IDA Pro, Ghidra, or x64dbg.
  • Understanding of operating system internals and low-level system programming.
  • Experience with security tools and frameworks for vulnerability assessment and exploitation.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Windows and Linux internals.
  • Knowledge of common security protocols and encryption mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with fuzzing techniques and exploit development.
  • Contributions to open-source security projects or personal research publications.
