Job summary

Asana seeks a Security Engineer to join the Blue Team in Warsaw. You will lead detection, analysis, and response across cloud, identity, and SaaS environments, building detection-as-code, and maturing SIEM/EDR tooling with Panther, CrowdStrike, and other platforms.

You will partner with IT and product teams to embed secure practices, perform threat hunting, and drive incident response improvements. This is an office-based hybrid role in Warsaw, Poland.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in threat detection, security operations, or incident response across cloud, identity, and SaaS.
• Proficient in Python and scripting for security automation; hands-on with REST APIs, Git workflows, and PR reviews.
• Hands-on experience auditing software supply chain threats and CI/CD pipelines (npm, PyPI).
• Familiarity with Detection as Code, CI/CD rule management, and test-driven detection logic.

Responsibilities

• Lead detection, analysis, and response across cloud, SaaS, identity, endpoints, and software supply chain.
• Investigate and remediate incidents in cloud infra (AWS/GCP/Azure) and identity providers.
• Contain software supply chain and CI/CD incidents from build env changes to third-party dependencies.
