Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team in Gdynia. This role involves performing requirements analysis, preparing test scenarios and cases, and developing automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python. Ideal candidates should have over 5 years of experience in Python and related technologies, strong analytical skills, and a knack for problem-solving. Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience developing in Python.
• 5+ years of experience working with database technologies.
• 5+ years of experience using Git.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
• 3+ years of experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins).
• Strong practical experience with Linux environments and Bash scripting.
• Solid experience in test planning, execution, automation, and defect management.
• Experience with test management tools such as qTest or Zephyr.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo, Jira, and Bitbucket.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis and challenge unclear or incomplete requirements.
• Prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Robot Framework and Python.
• Plan and execute test activities.
• Analyze test results and report defects.
• Execute automated regression tests as part of CI/CD pipelines.
