Job summary

IBA Group is seeking a Senior SAP BDC/ S/4HANA Data Solution Architect to join a long-term project focused on SAP S/4HANA migration, data architecture, and integration with SAP Datasphere.

The role requires expertise in data models, extraction mechanisms, and CDS views, with a focus on Finance and Controlling. Opportunity for multi-country collaboration and a 2-year contract.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA data models, extraction mechanisms, and reporting-related data structures.
• Strong understanding of differences between SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data models, especially in Finance and Controlling.
• Advanced knowledge of ABAP CDS Views, extraction-enabled CDS views, ODP frameworks, and delta-enabled extraction mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Design data extraction and integration solutions for SAP S/4HANA and SAP Datasphere.
• Analyze SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data models, particularly in Finance and Controlling.
• Map legacy ECC extractors, tables, and SAP BW transformations to appropriate SAP S/4HANA data sources.
• Identify and evaluate standard SAP S/4HANA CDS views and supported extraction interfaces.
• Assess data availability, extraction feasibility, delta capabilities, and performance implications.
• Support SAP S/4HANA integration with SAP Datasphere, including replication flows and data provisioning.
• Ensure data integration solutions remain compatible with the ongoing SAP S/4HANA migration.

About the Role:

Must have: Experience mapping legacy SAP ECC extractors, tables, and BW transformations to SAP S/4HANA data sources.

• Experience identifying and evaluating standard SAP S/4HANA CDS views and other supported extraction interfaces.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA simplification items, deprecated structures, and changes to application data models.
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with SAP Datasphere, including replication flows and supported data provisioning approaches.
• Ability to assess extraction feasibility, data availability, delta capabilities, and performance implications.
• Experience designing data integration solutions compatible with ongoing SAP S/4HANA migration.
