Job summary

Hard Rock Digital is seeking a Senior Salesforce Test Automation Engineer to own quality engineering across our Salesforce platform. This hands-on role designs and builds automation frameworks, partners with developers early, and raises the quality bar for iGaming operations.

The candidate will work in an Agile environment with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and third-party integrations. Proficiency in Python and automation tooling is required; experience with CI/CD is a must.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/test engineering experience focused on Salesforce in production environments.
• Deep Salesforce platform knowledge: Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Flows; platform events.
• Strong automation engineering skills; Python proficiency; experience with Salesforce-aware frameworks is a plus.
• CI/CD fluency; integrating automated tests into GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD-based pipelines.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API integration testing, data pipelines, and event-driven architectures.
• Jira proficiency; defect lifecycle management in Agile/Kanban.
• Clear communication; ability to articulate risk and quality decisions to stakeholders.
• Collaborative by nature; works well with dev, product, and platform teams.

Responsibilities

• Own test automation strategy and execution across Salesforce environments and third‑party integrations.
• Design and build automated test suites using Playwright, Copado Robot Testing, simple-salesforce, Behave, and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead regression, smoke, functional, UAT, integration, and performance testing for Salesforce customizations (Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Flows).
• Shift left on quality; engage in early requirements/design sessions and flag risks.
• Provide feedback on Apex, LWC, and integration code with emphasis on testability and coverage.
• Validate data integrity across Salesforce records, reports, dashboards, Data Cloud pipelines, and integrations.
• Log and triage defects in Jira; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Define and maintain test documentation standards: test plans, cases, scripts, and coverage matrices.
• Mentor junior QA contributors and developers on automation best practices.
• Stay updated with Salesforce releases; evaluate impact and propose improvements.
