Job summary

Arctic7 is seeking an experienced Senior Linux System Engineer with a strong background in Golang development and Linux systems. You will design, build, and optimize software components, script in Bash and Python, and work on kernel-level customization to enhance performance and security.

The role requires deep understanding of system programming, networking, and Linux kernel internals, with the bonus of experience in PHP or FreeBSD. Remote Europe collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Linux System Engineer or Backend Engineer with strong Golang expertise.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems and network fundamentals.
• Knowledge of system programming, network programming, and Linux Kernel concepts.
• Experience with PHP, Python, or FreeBSD is a plus.
• Familiarity with security best practices and system performance tuning.
