Job summary

Camlin is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer in Kraków to design and optimize real-time DSP and MCU solutions. The role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership, guiding junior engineers while delivering high-performance firmware.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing real-time DSP and MCU systems.
• Proficient in C/C++, RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
• Knowledge of DSP algorithms (FFT, filters, resampling).
• Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, RS485/RS232.
• Strong problem-solving and mentoring skills.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement real-time DSP and MCU firmware.
• Ensure latency, throughput meet constraints.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, provide guidance.
• Conduct code reviews, design evaluations, and testing.
• Investigate, debug and resolve complex issues in RT systems.
• Propose innovative solutions and document designs.
• Stay updated on DSP and MCU technologies.
• Support workload planning and resource allocation.
• Contribute to process improvements and tooling.
