Job summary

HelloFresh in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer for its HelloTech unit. You’ll help migrate a white-labeled multi-brand app from native React Native toward a scalable greenfield architecture, building robust mobile software with a strong focus on performance, tooling, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Deep, production-tested React Native expertise across iOS and Android.
• Experience bridging native code and RN components in a large app.
• Strong understanding of app performance and debugging in mobile stacks.
• Ability to work across a monorepo and contribute to shared tooling.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to brownfield-to-greenfield migration in a multi-brand RN app.
• Support monorepo scaling across multiple squads and shared packages.
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines in Bitrise and evaluate Expo migration.
• Build and extend end-to-end test coverage with Maestro.
• Improve observability with Honeycomb dashboards and tracing.
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to drive technical decisions.
• Investigate and resolve production issues to maintain stability.
• Document design decisions with ADRs or lightweight write-ups.
