Job summary

Citi Solutions Center Poland is seeking a qualified professional to validate qualitative models within the Model Risk Management framework. The role ensures models are used appropriately and users understand limitations, with the goal of mitigating risks through controls.

The position is a maternity cover with a hybrid work model (up to 2 days work-from-home per week) and a competitive base salary plus benefits. Citi emphasizes collaboration across Risk, Finance and Business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics or quantitative discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in Banking, Treasury, Finance or Risk management preferred.
• Strong partnership and teamwork skills; able to communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to senior management.
• Solid analytic, numeric and documentation skills; meticulous in analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent validation of qualitative models across Citi per MRM policy.
• Assess appropriateness of qualitative vs quantitative approaches for modeling objectives.
• Produce high-quality validation reports highlighting risks and limitations.
• Evaluate testing approaches and results in line with MRM guidance.
• Support ongoing performance monitoring and regulatory/audit responses.
• Collaborate with Risk and Business teams to ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare reports and materials for MRM senior management.
• Help design and maintain validation process standards and templates.
