Job summary

NVIDIA invites a Senior QA Software Engineer to join the System Ethernet QA Team at our R&D center. You will combine network protocol expertise with robust Python automation to test virtual networking silicon and software, from L2 to EVPN/VXLAN, ensuring high quality before hardware arrives.

You will collaborate with R&D to shape QA for new features, develop Python automation, and drive tests across performance, security, and functional scopes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on QA or networking experience with CCNP-equivalent protocol knowledge (L2/L3).
• Production-quality Python engineering with strong OOP and Pytest experience.
• Linux proficiency at LPIC-1/LPIC-2 level for system navigation and log analysis.
• Clear written and spoken English; degree in CS, EE, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural designs and requirements for new features.
• Lead design, development, and execution of tests across functional, performance, and security scopes.
• Develop Python automation suites built on clean OOP principles.
• Identify, reproduce, and validate fixes to root cause defects.
• Leverage the SimX platform to validate code before hardware arrival.
