Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior QA Software Engineer to join the System Ethernet QA Team at our R&D center in Poland. You will combine network protocol expertise with Python automation to test virtual networking silicon and software for L2-L3 features, EVPN, VXLAN, and QoS.

In this role, you will drive test design and execution across functional, performance, and security scopes, develop Python automation, and validate fixes using the SimX platform before hardware arrives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on QA or networking experience with CCNP-equivalent protocol knowledge (L2/L3, EVPN, VXLAN).
• Production-quality Python with strong OOP and Pytest experience.
• Deep Linux proficiency (LPIC-1/LPIC-2) to navigate internals and logs.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• B.Sc. or B.A. in CS, EE, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review designs and requirements for new features in the product.
• Lead tests across functional, performance, and security scopes during GA and updates.
• Develop Python automation suites built on clean OOP principles.
• Identify defects and verify fixes until root cause is resolved.
• Use SimX to validate code before hardware arrives.
