Job summary

Luxoft in Kraków is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated tests for backend APIs, UI components, and end-to-end IDP document processing flows.

You will extend test frameworks with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and clear reporting, while integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with developers and product stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Java development with strong OOP, API design, and multithreading.
• Unix shell scripting experience.
• Proficiency in unit testing with JUnit.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development tooling.
• Solid Git version control and branching strategy understanding.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Experience testing AI-assisted/document-processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for backend APIs, UI components, and end-to-end IDP document flows.
• Build and extend test automation frameworks focusing on maintainability and scalable reporting.
• Support automated regression testing across document types, attributes, and onboarding scenarios.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve feedback loops for development teams.
• Analyze test results, investigate defects, and collaborate with developers to identify root causes.
• Maintain test data handling for anonymized datasets and contributing to QA strategy.
