Job summary

EPAM Systems Kraków is seeking a senior software developer with strong Python and Java (or C++) expertise to design and deliver robust software solutions. You will apply data structures, algorithms, and quantitative methods to solve complex problems, and contribute to data analytics projects using Pandas and NumPy.

In an Agile, cross-functional team, you’ll work autonomously with a sharp eye for detail, communicate in English (B2+), and participate in hybrid work arrangements with Poland-wide

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Python and Java or C++.
• Knowledge of classic data structures and algorithms.
• Background in mathematical, quantitative, optimization, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience in quantitative or data analytics projects (e.g., simulations, numerical computation, modeling).
• Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Capability to work autonomously with strong attention to detail
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Nice to have Knowledge of Investment Management
• Experience in the Investment Management industry
