Job summary

Hitachi Digital is seeking an accounting professional to join our shared services center in Poland. You will enter documents into the accounting system, process expense reports, and manage the monthly closing while ensuring accuracy for multiple European entities.

Strong Excel and Oracle knowledge are helpful, with English as the working language. The role requires 3–4 years in accounting/finance, a degree in administration, accounting or economics, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/degree in administration, accounting or economics.
• 3–4 years of professional accounting/finance experience, preferably in SSC.
• Knowledge of Romanian accounting and tax regulations (advantage).
• Basic Romanian language would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations (advantage).
• Ability to handle accounting processes for various European countries within the SSC.
• English written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter documents into the accounting system.
• Record employee expense reports, trip expenses and invoices.
• Validate documents for accounting purposes; support monthly closing.
• Verify documents from accounting and tax perspectives.
• Prepare information for audits and financial statements.
