Job summary

TFS HealthScience is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our CDS Ophthalmology teams. This home-based role in the EU will lead multidisciplinary study teams to ensure milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met.

You will guide planning, risk mitigation, client liaison, and cross-functional coordination across clinical operations, data management, statistics, and regulatory functions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management within clinical research/CROs, strong ICH-GCP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or similar.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management (ideally within clinical research / CRO environment).
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial regulations (e.g., ICH-GCP).
• Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Financial and budget management experience.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery ensuring timelines, scope, and budget are met.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, including financials and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Allocate and manage project resources in collaboration with line managers.
• Report progress and elevate issues where needed.
• Support business development activities, including proposals and bid defenses.
• Mentor junior Project Managers when required.

About this role

As part of our CDS Ophthalmology teams you will be working alongside passionate and innovative professionals to ensure our customers achieve their goals.

The Project Manager will plan and pro-actively manage multidisciplinary study teams (including Site Management, Data Management, Statistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory and Safety) to ensure key milestones are achieved and studies are performed within budget, on schedule and in compliance with the appropriate - and quality standards.
