Salve.Inno Consulting is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Trust & Safety to take end-to-end ownership of safety features for a large-scale AI consumer platform. You will define, build and refine AI content moderation, age verification, detection systems and red-teaming initiatives, working closely with the CTO, Legal & Safety Lead and Product Lead.

The role is hands-on, demanding practical decisions, and aims to balance user safety with regulatory obligations and product experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of product management experience with ownership of decisions and outcomes.
• Proven track record delivering safety-related product features, not just coordinating teams.
• Strong understanding of trust, safety, platform safety or regulatory challenges in digital products.
• Ability to balance user protection, regulatory obligations and product performance.
• Technical familiarity with safety systems, thresholds, false positives/negatives and human review processes.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager - Trust & Safety to join a rapidly growing international AI technology company with more than 50 million users worldwide. The company develops AI-powered consumer experiences that allow users to interact with AI characters through conversations, voice, image generation and video. This is a newly created, high-impact role focused on taking full product ownership of trust, safety and compliance capabilities across a large-scale consumer platform.

You will be responsible for defining and delivering safety-related product features, including AI content moderation, age verification, detection systems and red-teaming initiatives. Working directly with engineers, you will translate complex safety and regulatory challenges into practical product solutions. You will collaborate closely with the CTO, Legal & Safety Lead and Product Lead, making important decisions that balance user protection, regulatory obligations and the overall product experience. This is a hands-on product management role, not a policy, legal or trust and safety operations position. The successful candidate must demonstrate genuine ownership of product decisions, technical delivery and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of trust, safety and compliance features across a large-scale AI consumer platform.

• Define, prioritise and execute the product roadmap for safety-related capabilities.

• Work directly with engineering teams to design, develop, implement and improve safety features.

• Lead product initiatives involving AI content moderation, age verification and red-teaming capabilities.

• Translate safety requirements and regulatory considerations into functional product specifications and deliverable solutions.

• Make independent product decisions balancing user safety, regulatory compliance and commercial or user experience impact.

• Define and optimise content detection thresholds and moderation decision criteria.

• Evaluate and manage false positives and false negatives within automated safety systems.

• Design and improve human review workflows and escalation mechanisms.

• Collaborate with technical teams to assess moderation effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Evaluate the operational and product implications of different safety controls.

• Partner closely with the CTO, Legal & Safety Lead and Product Lead on safety priorities and regulatory challenges.

• Assess risks associated with AI-generated content and emerging platform safety issues.

• Review sensitive user reports and safety incidents when necessary to inform product decisions.

• Take accountability for feature delivery, implementation quality and measurable safety outcomes.

• Continuously improve safety systems as the platform scales and regulatory requirements evolve.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional Product Management experience, including substantial ownership of product decisions, delivery and outcomes.

• Proven experience independently owning and delivering product features rather than exclusively coordinating teams or documenting requirements.

• Strong understanding of trust and safety, platform safety or regulatory challenges within digital products.

• Demonstrated ability to make practical safety and regulatory trade-offs, with concrete examples of decisions taken and their impact.

• Solid technical understanding of safety systems, including detection thresholds, false positives, false negatives and human review processes.

• Ability to work directly with engineers to design and deliver technically complex product features.

• Strong product judgment and ability to balance regulatory obligations, user protection and product performance.

• Experience translating complex safety or compliance requirements into actionable product development initiatives.

• Ability to independently prioritise product work, make decisions and take accountability for results.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, legal and safety stakeholders.

• Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.

• Currently based in Europe and available to work fully remotely.

• Willingness to work under a full-time B2B contractor agreement.
